Your baby's birth day will fly by in a blur

Capture photos that take you right back.

Will you remember?

The labor time warp is something else…

Labor requires your full attention.  You will miss much of what’s going on around you as you enter labor land to become fully present with your body and baby.

When your baby finally emerges, you will be so caught up in the emotional high of that moment that you’ll completely lose track of time and the world around you.

Then… the sleep deprivation hits.  It’s no wonder they say “you forget all the pain” – because with sleep deprivation comes memory fuzziness.  Also – mom brain anyone?

Your baby’s birth day will fly by in a blur.  When you finally catch your breath, you can relax knowing all of the most important moments were documented so you never forget the day you met your baby.

Birth photography is right for you if…

Your baby's birth day is just as (or more) important than your wedding day.

As a single mom I might be biased (or just have a unique perspective), but with 50% of marriages ending in divorce, to me it’s a no-brainer that birth photography is more important than wedding photography. You may divorce your spouse, but you will never divorce your babies.

You want to see your birth from the outside looking in

You recognize that your baby’s birthday is going to fly by, and that you will be too busy with the work of labor to be able to take it all in. Birth photography captures all of the in-between moments you missed, as well as your own personal strength as you bring your baby into the world.

You don't want to have to remind someone to take photos

You want to be able to focus on you and your baby – not reminding someone else to take the photos. This event is too important for missed moments.

You want your partner to focus on you, not fumbling with a camera.

This is a big day for both of you! Your partner deserves to be right by your side, and you deserve to have them there, fully present and enjoying the moment. Plus, with someone else taking the photos, your partner gets to be in the photos. Double win.

How it works

Check Due Date Availability

Since birth is unique and cannot be scheduled, I take a very limited number of birth clients to make sure I’m available when the time comes. I recommend checking early as I am usually booked up months in advance.

Waiting for Baby

We will meet in person to go over all the details, and I’ll walk you through the whole process. When the time comes, day or night, weekend or holiday, I will be ready to drop everything to capture your baby’s grand debut!

Relax and enjoy your images

Re-live the best day of your life through high quality, professional images that tell the whole story of your baby’s birth from the outside looking in.

What you get

When you add me to your birth team, I will be ready to drop everything for you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your investment covers 2 am wake up calls, false alarms, and unlimited hours at your birth.  I will be there to capture your story – whether it happens on a random Tuesday in the middle of the day, or in the wee hours of Christmas morning.

No matter what, I’ll be there for you.

Step 1: Click the button below to message me and confirm your due date availability

Now that I’ve seen them, I can’t imagine NOT having photos to look back on! Thank you SO MUCH for capturing all of the moments we asked for, and the ones that I had no idea would mean so much to me until they happened. Some of these are truly some of my most favorite photos of all time, and I cannot express my gratitude enough.

How much does it cost?

Cost is an important consideration anytime we are looking to hire professional services, and I’m sure it’s a big question on your mind. As a consumer myself who doesn’t have an endless supply of money, I totally understand the desire to get a cost estimate before reaching out to a photographer who may be completely outside of your budget.
My birth photography sessions start at 3 payments of $650 and cover weeks of 24/7 on-call time (because birth can’t be scheduled), unlimited hours at your birth (because birth is unpredictable), and a beautiful slideshow of your story set to music. Birth is my specialty –  hiring someone you can trust to not only capture your story well, but who also conducts themselves appropriately in the birth space is so important.

Unpopular opinion: You may divorce your spouse, but you’ll never divorce your kids…

When you consider that the average cost for 8 hours of wedding photography coverage is $2,500-$5,000 ($300-$600 per hour), and the average length of labor for a first time mom is 12-18 hours, a birth package at $1,950 for unlimited hours and an unknown date/time is a steal.

Before you book

Get to know me!

She was everything I wanted in a birth photographer and more.

Leslie is hands down the most amazing birth and lifestyle photographer I’ve seen. Her work speaks for itself. But more importantly, she’s an amazing PERSON!  In the labor/delivery room she was so poised and professional and while trying to shoot photos for us, she was also able to help cue my husband on some un-Medicated pain management techniques that helped me to cope. When things got crazy hectic in the room she was there to capture it all and make it look peaceful and calm. She was everything I wanted in a birth photographer and more.
